(Boise, ID) ? The University of Idaho and Qwest Arena have reached an agreement to relocate the men?s basketball game between the Vandals and Lewis-Clark State College to Boise on December 29th.That is the night before the Idaho football team faces Bowling Green in the Roady?s Humanitarian Bowl at Bronco Stadium. The Vandal band and cheerleaders will perform at the game and there will be an appearance by Robb Akey and the Vandal football team as well. The basketball game had been scheduled to be played at Memorial Gym in Moscow with few students on campus during winter break.?It makes sense for them because of all the boosters, alumni, and students in town,? Qwest Arena President John Cunningham said. ?And it makes sense for us because it was an open date at the arena where we can help generate some added business in downtown Boise.?Game time is 7 PM at Qwest Arena. A limited number of court-side seats will be available for $20 each. Tickets are $15 for lower-bowl seats and $10 for upper-bowl seats.
