Boise, ID - It?s not every day you see a ?Gordie Howe Hat Trick?- a goal, an assist, and a fight from one player- but Idaho?s Steve Gainey put one together tonight in front of 2,820 fans at Qwest Arena. Bryan McGregor also managed three assists for Idaho. The Steelheads, however, could not put together a win, as the Falcons escaped tonight with a 5-4 victory. Fresno (7-3-0) entered tonight in first place in the Pacific Division and opened the scoring with a Mike Radja goal, his sixth, at 16:34 of the first period. It was a power play goal that beat Idaho?s Matt Climie, assisted by Dustin Sproat and Josh Prudden. Idaho (4-5-2) answered with the first goal of the second period. Kris Sparre beat Joe Fallon for his first of the season at 6:40, with an assist going to Bryan McGregor. But as the goal was being announced in Qwest Arena, Fresno struck again.
