Boise Burn Head Coach Lee Leslie coached the Utah Blaze of the AFL before coming to Boise 2 years ago. His relationship with the Blaze is still strong and today, that loyalty has paid off. The arenafotball2 league offices have announced that Boise has been assigned former University of Utah and Utah Blaze wide receiver Brian Hernandez. As a member of the Utah Utes, Hernandez was a 3 year starter playing in 33 games recording 125 receptions for 1,518 yards and 5 TD?s. After college, Hernandez attended the pro day at Utah then was signed midway through the AFL season by the Utah Blaze of the AFL. Hernandez spent 3 weeks on the practice squad with the Utah Blaze before being released 2 weeks ago. Hernandez is expected to make his af2 debut this weekend against the Tri-Cities Fever. ?I am excited about the opportunity to play for the Burn and I look forward to helping Boise make a run at the playoffs? The Burn have also announced that they have been assigned OL/DL Eric Price. Price (6?5? 310) began his college career at Idaho State University, playing 2 years from 2002-03. In 2004 Price sat out a year then transferred to Eastern Oregon where he finished his collegiate career from 2005-2006 as a 2 year starter for the Mountaineers. Price is expected to make his professional debut against the Tri Cities Fever this weekend. The Burn will host the Tri-Cities Fever Saturday, June 28th, at Qwest Arena. Kick off is at 7:10 pm (MT).
