Boise, ID (9/3/2015) – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced Thursday that the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Jefferson Dahl.
Dahl, 25, joined the Steelheads midway through the 2014-15 season and averaged nearly a point per game, collecting 34 points (13 goals, 21 assists) and a plus-13 rating in 41 games with Idaho. Six of his goals came on the power play, third-most on the team despite missing nearly half the season. The University of Wisconsin product had a five-game point streak in March, scoring three goals and adding five assists in that stretch.
Dahl becomes the fifth returning player to be added to Idaho’s training camp roster, joining Andrew Carroll, Colton Beck, Jake Rutt and Rob Linsmayer.
The Steelheads open the regular season on Friday, October 16, at home against the Rapid City Rush. It is the first of 36 home games, each of which will be played at CenturyLink Arena.
Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting as low as $275 per seat for all 36 home games. Partial-season packages are also available. Contact the Idaho Steelheads at 208-383-0080 for more information or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com.
