Boise, ID (8/20/2015) – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced Thursday that the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Colton Beck.
The second-year pro finished last season with 49 points in 65 games as a rookie, but averaged a point per game after the ECHL All Star break, putting up 28 points in 28 contests, earning him the team’s annual “Unsung Hero” award at the end of the regular season. His strong play continued in the postseason where he had four goals in six games for the Steelheads. The 25-year-old finished the season with five game-winning goals, tied for second-most among all ECHL rookies.
Beck is the third player to return to the training-camp roster from last season, joining Jake Rutt and Rob Linsmayer.
The Steelheads open the regular season on Friday, October 16, at home against the Rapid City Rush. It is the first of 36 home games, each of which will be played at CenturyLink Arena.
Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting as low as $275 per seat for all 36 home games. Partial-season packages are also available. Contact the Idaho Steelheads at 208-383-0080 for more information or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com.
