Boise, ID (7/20/2015) – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Rob Linsmayer.
Linsmayer, 25, will be entering his third professional season with the Steelheads. Over the first two, the Holy Cross College product skated in 74 total games with Idaho, scoring 20 goals and adding another 24 assists for a total of 44 points. He missed much of last season with an injury but, once cleared, he picked up 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 17 games with a plus-10 rating. Two of his three goals were game-winning tallies.
He is the fourth person to agree to terms with the Steelheads for the upcoming season, joining defensemen Jake Rutt and Daniel Johnston along with forward Chase Grant.
The Steelheads open the regular season on Friday, October 16, at home against the Rapid City Rush. It is the first of 36 home games, each of which will be played at CenturyLink Arena.
Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting as low as $275 per seat for all 36 home games. Partial-season packages are also available. Contact the Idaho Steelheads at 208-383-0080 for more information or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com.
