Boise, ID (7/28/2015) – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Jake Fallon.
Hailing from suburban Dallas, Texas, Fallon wrapped up his college career last spring at the University of Vermont, finishing top-three on the team in assists in all three seasons spent with the Catamounts. The 23-year-old skated in 114 of a possible 115 games during his time at Vermont. Prior to his days in college, Fallon was a member of the US Under-18 National Team, where he was a teammate of former Steelhead (and NHL 1st-round draft pick) Jack Campbell, Stanley Cup champion Brandon Saad and NHL’ers Cam Fowler and Justin Faulk, among others.
Fallon is the third forward to agree to terms with the Steelheads for the upcoming season, joining Chase Grant and Rob Linsmayer.
The Steelheads open the regular season on Friday, October 16, at home against the Rapid City Rush. It is the first of 36 home games, each of which will be played at CenturyLink Arena.
