Boise, ID (4/11/2015) – The Idaho Steelheads and Utah Grizzlies will meet in the opening round of the U.S. Bank ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs, a best-of-7 series that will open on Wednesday, April 15, at CenturyLink Arena in Boise.
Tickets for Game 1 and Game 4 in Boise go on sale at 10 AM on Saturday morning. They’re available at the CenturyLink Arena Box office, at www.idahosteelheads.com or by calling 208-331-8497. Fans also have the option of the “Pay as We Play” program, which allows fans to secure the same seat to every possible home game.

The winner of the series will advance to face either Colorado or Ontario in the next round of the playoffs. Idaho is the no. 1 seed in the Pacific Division, giving the team home-ice advantage over any Pacific-Division foe it may face.
Every playoff game will be broadcast live on KTIK Radio (either 1350 AM or 93.1 FM) while all home games in the postseason will be televised live locally on CableOne, digital channel 72.
The Steelheads have reached the postseason every season of their existence, dating back to 1997-98 in the now-defunct West Coast Hockey League. Idaho’s current streak of 12 consecutive playoff appearances since joining the ECHL is the longest active streak in the league. The Steelheads have won two Kelly Cup championships (’04, ’07) and also won the Western Conference championship in 2010.
Idaho and Utah have met one time in the postseason - a four-game Idaho sweep in the second round of the 2010 ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs en route to the conference title.
