Boise, ID (1/24/15) – CenturyLink and the Idaho Steelheads are inviting the community to join them on the ice at CenturyLink Arena in downtown Boise on Sunday, February 8, for CenturyLink "Free Skate Day" from 2 - 4 PM.
There is no admission charge and there are a limited number of skates that will be available for fans to use on a first-come, first-served basis. People who have their own skates are encouraged to bring them. People who bring a can of food to the event will receive two tickets to Idaho's home game on Saturday, February 14, while supplies last, courtesy of CenturyLink. All the food collected will be donated to help serve people in need in the Treasure Valley.
Head Coach Brad Ralph and the Steelheads players will be on hand along with Blue, the Idaho Steelheads mascot, to meet fans.
The Steelheads are in the midst of a six-game road trip, including Saturday night's game in Anchorage against the Alaska Aces. Game time is 9:15 (Mtn) and it can be heard live on KTIK 1350 AM in the Treasure Valley.
Group outings at a Steelheads game are a great way to gather friends, colleagues, or co-workers for a fun night out in downtown Boise. Ticket prices are discounted and you can get a Pepsi, Double-R Ranch Hot Dog, and bag of chips with each ticket. Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com for more information.
