Karlsson recalled by AHL's Stars

Boise, ID (11/20/14) – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Thursday that forward Ludwig Karlsson, under contract with the NHL’s Dallas Stars, has been reassigned from Idaho of the ECHL to Texas in the American Hockey League.

Idaho and Texas are the primary development affiliates of the Stars.

The 23-year-old native of Sweden has three goals in twelve games so far this season for Idaho. He was acquired by the Stars organization over the summer as part of the trade that brought Jason Spezza from Ottawa to Dallas.

The Steelheads return to home ice tonight, hosting the Ontario Reign at 7:10 PM. The same two teams will meet again Saturday night for Military Appreciation Night. Tickets are available by contacting the CenturyLink Arena box office at 208-331-8497.
