Boise, ID (7/28/14) – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Monday that the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Gaelan Patterson.
The 23-year-old Patterson appeared 68 games with Idaho last season, notching a professional career high in goals (10). He was particularly good down the stretch and into the postseason for the Steelheads, leading the team in plus/minus rating after February 1 (plus-11) and finishing second on the team in postseason scoring (eight points). He assisted on the game-winning goal in Idaho’s four-overtime win over Colorado to end opening round of the playoffs and then came back with the OT game-winning goal in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals two days later.
