Boise, ID (3/10/14) – The Idaho Steelheads and St. Luke’s Medical Center teamed up to generate over $15,000 for Mountain States Tumor Institute with the team’s “Pink in the Rink” promotion on Friday and Saturday night at CenturyLink Arena.
Anthony Nigro ($1,500) and Patrick Cullity ($1,000) drew the highest bids in the silent jersey auction as the team has now raised over $475,000 for local non-profits and charities through silent jersey auctions. One hundred percent of the proceeds went to the Mountain States Tumor Institute.
The team hits the road for four important games this week, playing at Ontario on Wednesday before traveling to Bakersfield for games Friday and Saturday. The trip ends with a game back in Ontario on Sunday.
Idaho’s next home game is Wednesday, March 19, when the Colorado Eagles come to town. Tickets are available by contacting the CenturyLink Arena box office at 208-331-8497.
