Boise, ID (11/26/13) ? Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that the Idaho Steelheads have received three players from the American Hockey League. Defenseman Hubert Labrie and goaltender Josh Robinson have returned to Idaho from Texas, Idaho?s AHL affiliate, while forward Austin Fyten has been reassigned to Idaho by Oklahoma City of the AHL.The American Hockey League is the highest level of minor-league hockey in North America.Labrie and Robinson have both played in Idaho already this season and have both received multiple recalls to Texas. Labrie has skated in three games with the Steelheads without registering a point while Robinson is 4-1 in net for Idaho with a 2.17 goals-against average.Fyten comes to Idaho for the first time this season after spending the bulk of his rookie campaign in the City of Trees. The 22-year-old Fyten skated in 46 regular-season games last season, collecting 41 points (14 goals, 27 assists), and added another eleven points (five goals, six assists) in 17 postseason games with the Steelheads. The second-year pro signed an AHL contract with Oklahoma City during the summer and has three assists in 12 games played thusfar at the AHL level this season.Also, the Steelheads released goaltender Brooks Ostergard. The second-year pro out of Robert Morris turned in a solid start in net for Idaho on Sunday, making 29 saves in an overtime loss in Stockton.The Steelheads are at home Tuesday night, hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:10 PM at CenturyLink Arena. The two teams also play Friday night in Boise ? that night is CenturyLink Cap Night.
