PRINCETON, N.J. ? The ECHL, in conjunction with The MeiGray Group and USA Hockey, announced on Monday the opening of the fan ballot for the 2013-14 ECHL Fantasy Team. The ECHL is giving fans the opportunity to vote for players to comprise the 2013-14 Fantasy Team, of which, one player from each member team will be selected to wear a special ECHL Fantasy Team jersey at an upcoming home game. CLICK HERE to cast your votes for the 2013-14 ECHL Fantasy TeamEach ECHL team has preselected three players to appear on their team?s ballot, while fans have the opportunity to also write-in a selection of their choice. The top vote-getter on each team will wear the one-of-a-kind U.S.A-themed jersey during the designated dates. Voting is now open on ECHL.com. Fans are limited to one ballot during the voting period, which runs until 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 22. Fans can vote for up to one player on each ECHL member team?s ballot before hitting the ?Cast Vote? button at the bottom of the voting page. The results of the Fantasy Team voting will be announced the week of Dec. 16. ?The Meigray/ECHL partnership has brought our fans authentic game-worn jerseys for over a decade now,? said ECHL Director of Marketing and Licensing Todd Merton. ?The ECHL is proud to partner with the MeiGray Group to once again provide our loyal fans the opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind jersey worn by their favorite player.? ?Creative and inventive game-worn jerseys are a fabric of the game,? said Barry Meisel, MeiGray's President and Chief Operating Officer. ?So, we are delighted that the ECHL continues to possess the vision to make new and exciting jerseys a big part of our program.?
