Boise, ID (10/21/13) - The Idaho Steelheads, in conjunction with CableOne Television, announced Monday that the local cable provider will air all 36 Idaho Steelheads' home hockey games on CableOne channel 17.This season marks the first time all 36 home contests will air live. The two have a long relationship that featured live broadcasts on Friday nights with tape-delayed rebroadcasts of other home games.The games will be shown on the Treasure Valley, Ontario and McCall CableOne systems featuring Will Hoenike, the Voice of the Steelheads, along with John Mulhern and Mark Broz.The first live broadcast of the season on CableOne is Wednesday night when the Steelheads host San Francisco. The CableOne broadcast will begin at 7 PM with puck drop at 7:10 PM.The announcement adds to the list of outlets where fans can see or hear LIVE Idaho Steelheads hockey action:- All 72 games will be carried on the radio by KTIK in the Treasure Valley. Most games will air on 1350 AM, but select games (including November 8, November 20 and November 29, among others) will air on 93.1 FM.- Every Steelheads game will be broadcast live on the internet via the AmericaOne Network. The live streaming video feed is available on a pay-per-view basis.The Bud Light Idaho Steelheads hockey show begins this week on KTIK 1350 AM as well, airing live from 6 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights with Hoenike at the mic.Group outings at a Steelheads game are a great way to gather friends, colleagues or co-workers for a fun night out in downtown Boise.
