Will Hoenike Named Employee of the Year (Boise, ID) ? Director of Media and Community Relations Will Hoenike has been named Employee of the Year for the Idaho Steelheads. For the past two years Hoenike has been the Director of Media and Community Relations for CenturyLink Arena and the Idaho Steelheads. He is also the Director of Broadcasting the Idaho Steelheads. Prior to this, Hoenike was Director of Season-Ticket Relations, where he was in charge of maintaining and communicating with season-ticket holders. According to team president Eric Trapp, ?Hoenike has always shown dedication to both the fans and players of the Idaho Steelheads. He is reliable, accountable, and is willing to pitch in on any task even if it is outside of his job description.? Colleague Chris Mitchell says that ?During the away games Hoenike is able to bring the electric atmosphere to the fans that are just listening to the radio.? Will was named ECHL Media Relations Director of the Year for the 2010-2011 season. This is his first time receiving Employee of the Year from the Idaho Steelheads.
