(Boise, ID) ? Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Hardy Sauter announced Saturday afternoon that the Idaho Steelheads have traded goaltender Jimmy Spratt to the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for future considerations. In a corresponding move, goaltender Bryan Hince has been added to Idaho?s active roster. Hince was acquired via trade from Greenville earlier in the week. Hince, 25, is in his third professional season out of Plattsburgh State in the SUNYAC (State University of New York Athletic Conference). In 53 college games, Hince was 44-7-2 with a 1.98 goals-against average and helped his team reach the NCAA Division III National Championship Game in 2008. After spending nearly a season and a half in the Southern Professional Hockey League, Hince joined the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL earlier this season, going 5-0 with a 1.49 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage before being acquired by Idaho. Two of Spratt?s strongest starts this season for the Steelheads came against Utah, a 30-save victory on Opening Night (October 14) and a 37-save victory on January 18. Both wins came in Utah. Overall, Spratt was 6-6 with Idaho, posting a .920 save percentage. He also made two starts for Idaho?s AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars, going 1-1 with a 2.02 goals-against average during December. Both netminders are expected to be in uniform for their respective teams Saturday night when the Steelheads taken on the Grizzlies in West Valley City, Utah. Game time is 7 PM and can be heard on KTIK (1350 AM) in the Treasure Valley.
