Huxley rejoins Steelheads

(Boise, ID) ? Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Hardy Sauter announced Thursday that veteran enforcer and fan-favorite Adam Huxley has joined the team?s training camp. The Wainwright, Alberta, product has skated the past two seasons with the Steelheads, totaling 35 points (11 goals, 24 assists) and 322 penalty minutes in 92 regular-season games. The 322 penalty minutes ranks him fifth all-time for the Steelheads during the ECHL era, behind Lance Galbraith, Marty Flichel, Scott Burt and Blake Forsyth. Huxley turned professional in 2004 and has accumulated 1,516 career penalty minutes between the ECHL and American Hockey League. Broken down mathematically, Huxley has spent more than one full day of his professional life in the penalty box. Sauter has 24 skaters and four goaltenders in training camp. The Steelheads host the 2nd-Annual Season Ticket Holder Only game Friday night at CenturyLink Arena against the Utah Grizzlies. The two teams then travel to Logan, Utah, for another pre-season game on Saturday. Steelhead Season-Ticket Holders get six games FREE when they sign up for full-season packages.
