Lampl, Gabinet return from the AHL

(Boise, ID) ? Idaho Steelheads head coach and director of hockey operations Hardy Sauter announced Monday afternoon that defensemen Cody Lampl and Mike Gabinet have been returned to the team by the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. Lampl and Gabinet both skated for the Heat Saturday night during a 3-1 loss to Manitoba. Neither registered a point. For Lampl, it was his first action at the AHL level. Gabinet has played parts of three seasons in the AHL, which is the highest level of minor-league hockey in North America. The pair is expected to be in uniform Thursday night when Idaho returns to action at home against the Alaska Aces. The Steelheads will be back at Qwest Arena with games on December 2, 3, and 4 against the rival Alaska Aces.
