(Boise, ID) ? Head coach and director of hockey operations Hardy Sauter announced Saturday that veteran forward Adam Huxley has returned to Idaho from Chicago of the American Hockey League and is expected to be in the lineup for the Steelheads Saturday night. Huxley, who turns 27 next week, appeared in two games with the Wolves, collecting 12 penalty minutes before being released from his player tryout agreement with the AHL organization. The Wainwright, Alberta, native had arguably his best season as a professional with Idaho in 2009-2010, scoring a career-high 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists) and led the Steelheads with 210 penalty minutes as the squad?s primary enforcer. This is Huxley?s eighth professional season after playing major junior hockey with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League. Idaho wraps up its three-game homestand against Utah Saturday night at Qwest Arena. A group night with the Steelheads is a cost-effective way to get friends, family, and business colleagues together for a fun night out, with group ticket rates starting at $11 per ticket. Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 for more information.
