(Boise, ID) ? Marty Flichel, the all-time leading scorer in the history of the Idaho Steelheads, is among 22 players who were announced Friday as part of the team?s 2010 training-camp roster. Flichel, 34, has played seven seasons for Idaho, amassing 343 points along the way. He joins reigning team MVP Mark Derlago and 2010 ECHL All Stars Brendan Milnamow and John Swanson in training camp with new head coach Hardy Sauter. Here is the roster, approved by the ECHL league offices on Friday: Goaltender (1): Tim Haun Defensemen (9): Brendan Milnamow, Cody Lampl, Weston Tardy, Dustin Molle, Dustin Friesen, Jason Fredricks, Mike Berube, Mike Gabinet, Steve Oleksy. Forwards (12): Matt McKnight, Brandon Campos, Kael Mouillierat, Justin Taylor, John Swanson, Bear Trapp, Matt Lowry, Marty Flichel, Adam Huxley, Geoff Irwin, Malcolm Gwilliam, Mark Derlago. At the time the roster was announced, four players (Lampl, Friesen, Irwin, and Huxley) remained on AHL training-camp rosters. Those players will not be eligible to come to Idaho until they are released from their AHL teams.Fourteen of the 22 have played for the Steelheads before.Among those who haven?t, Taylor was a 2009 ECHL All Star with the Las Vegas Wranglers. The 27-year-old centerman has also played in over 200 games at the American Hockey League level. Lowry and Trapp both skated in the ECHL last season for the Elmira Jackals. Tim Haun, the only goaltender listed on the training-camp roster at this point, was 27-11-2 with a .923 save percentage for the Fort Wayne Comets of the International Hockey League last season. More players may be added during training camp, either by agreeing to ECHL tryout contracts with the Steelheads or by assignment from Idaho?s affiliates ? the Dallas Stars (NHL) and Texas Stars (AHL). The team will take the ice for the first time in training camp on Tuesday, October 4, at Qwest Arena in Boise, with the players competing for a spot on the regular-season roster. The Steelheads open the regular season on October 15 when they host the Victoria Salmon Kings at Qwest Arena. Ticket plans for the 2010-2011 season are available right now, starting at just $275 per seat for all 36 home games during the regular season. Partial-season plans are also available.
