Qwest Arena and the Idaho Steelheads are teaming up to give hockey fans a place to watch the next two games of the ECHL National Conference Finals series between the Steelheads and the Stockton Thunder. The games will be shown live via the B2 Network at the SportZone inside of Qwest Arena. Idaho leads the best-of-seven series, two games to none. After playing the first two games of their National Conference Finals in Boise, the two teams shift to the Stockton Arena in northern California: Game 3: Wednesday, May 5, 8 PM Game 4: Friday, May 7, 8:30 PM Game 5 (if necessary): Saturday, May 8, 8:30 PM Saturday's viewing party, if necessary, will be at the Crescent No Lawyers Bar and Grill (5500 W. Franklin, between Curtis and Orchard, Boise) due to a previously-scheduled event at Qwest Arena. Doors to the SportZone will be open at 7 PM and there is no admission charge to watch the games with other Steelhead fans. A limited food and drink menu will be available for fans as well. Fans attending a possible Saturday gathering at the Crescent need to be at least 21 years old. The Steelheads are guaranteed to return to the Qwest Arena ice this season ? either in Games 6 & 7 against Stockton or Games 1 & 2 of the ECHL?s Kelly Cup Finals.
