Idaho adds pair of rookies to roster

Idaho adds pair of rookies to roster

(Boise, ID) ? Idaho Steelheads head coach Derek Laxdal announced Friday that a pair of rookie forwards, Kael Mouillierat and Geoff Irwin, have signed with the team and will join their new teammates in time for Friday night?s game in Ontario, CA. Mouillierat, 22, and Irwin, 24, both come to the Steelheads after completing their college season at Minnesota State-Mankato. The 5-foot-11 Mouillierat tied for the team lead with 13 goals and finished second on the Mavericks? roster with 25 points this season. Irwin, a native of Victoria, BC, finished with 24 points (8 goals, 16 assists). Irwin served as MSU?s captain and Mouillierat (pronounced MALLER-wrat) was one of the team?s alternate captains. The final homestand of the regular season for Idaho is March 24, 26, and 27 when the team hosts the Victoria Salmon Kings.
