Leading up to Wednesday night's home game against the Utah Grizzlies, Idaho Steelheads head coach Derek Laxdal announced a flurry of roster moves.First of all, forward Kevin DeVergilio has been activated from the injured list. The Saint Lawrence University product was injured in mid-November after tallying four goals in six games with Idaho. The high-scoring centerman tallied 42 goals and 71 assists over his four-year career at SLU.He's taking the place of forward Michael Olson, who has been placed on the 3-day injured reserve. Olson has a goal and an assist in five games so far this season.Also, defenseman Trevor Ludwig (pictured) has been sent to Idaho by the AHL's Texas Stars. It will be Ludwig's third trip to Idaho this season, tallying a goal and five assists in 13 games during his first two stops in Idaho since the season began.Idaho has three home games this week, hosting Utah on Wednesday and Alaska on Friday and Saturday at Qwest Arena in downtown Boise. Game time all three nights is 7 PM with tickets available by calling 208.331.TIXS. Friday and Saturday's games will be the Steelheads' first-annual "Educator Appreciation Weekend," as staff and faculty from schools all over southern Idaho and eastern Oregon will be attending the games.
