Matchup: Boise Burn (4-1) at Spokane Shock (5-0), 8 PM Saturday. In the Polls: Boise is ranked 7th in this week?s af2 Coaches Poll, Spokane remains the top-ranked team in the poll. Previous Meeting: Spokane forced Boise into six turnovers in a 63-45 victory on April 18 in Boise. The Burn remain winless all-time against the Shock. Get to know? Spokane QB Nick Davila. The second-year signalcaller has connected on 34 touchdown passes thusfar against just one interception. He torched the Burn secondary to the tune of 320 yards and 8 scores in the first meeting of the season and ranks second in af2 in pass efficiency. If you let him stand in the pocket and throw, he?ll pick even the best secondaries apart. Returning to the Scene: Four members of the Burn played in Spokane last season. Three (DB Nygel Rogers, DL David Stanton, and OL Palauni Ma Sun) will venture back to their former home arena as visitors on Saturday. Rogers, who made his Burn debut last week, had over 120 tackles and ten interceptions in two seasons as a member of the Shock. All three will start against Spokane on Saturday night. Tremaine Tyler, the fourth former Shock player on Boise?s roster, isn?t expected to play this weekend while he recovers from an injury. Strong Defenses Meet: The game features two of the top defensive units in af2. Boise (1st, 37.2) and Spokane (3rd, 39.8) both rank in the top five in points allowed per game. Both teams are also in the league?s top-ten in turnover margin and pass-efficiency defense.
