Last week, the duo completed 22 of 39 passes for 293 yards and six touchdowns in the loss to the Barnstormers. Bassuener will draw the starting assignment for the Dusters, but Drafts-- who has been the regular starter-- could see playing time if Bassuener is ineffective. Advantage?Boise: Amarillo comes into the game second-to-last in af2 in points scored per game (35.0) while Boise?s defense is in the top five in points allowed per contest (40.2). The Dusters also have the league?s worst passing offense while the Burn have one of the league?s top pass-efficiency defenses and second-most interceptions in af2. Sanders shines on defense: Defensive back Terrence Sanders was second-team All-af2 last season for Boise. He?s making a strong case for more this season. He?s currently top-ten in the league in tackles (6.3/game, 8th) and interceptions (5, tied-4th). Just for good measure, Sanders is also averaging 29 yards per kick return, which would lead af2 if he had enough returns to qualify. He has taken three kicks back for touchdowns so far this season.
