The Idaho Steelheads are running a series of Where Are They Now? on www.idahosteelheads.com to catch up with some former players and will post, in their own words, what they're up to and what they remember about their days spent with the Steelheads. Ben Keup - #11 - played for the Idaho Steelheads during the 2002-03, 2003-04 and 2004-05 season. The Minot, North Dakota native was a member of the Steelheads 2003-04 Kelly Cup Championship team. Read on to learn what Ben's been doing since leaving Boise....We moved to Michigan in December (2007) and I started law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing in January. Between now and when I played, I worked at the Home Depot in Eagle for about 2 1/2 years. My wife Stacia and I have 2 boys - Ryan is 5 and Logan is 2. I should be done with school in 2011 and we are considering moving back to the Boise area, but it's still a long way away. As for my favorite moment, it would have to be winning the first championship in team history. What a group of guys and maybe even better than winning the final, beating Vegas after being down 2-0 in a best of 5 could have been the best accomplishment. Really showed the character of the guys we had. --Keuper
