BOISE, ID – The Idaho Steelheads (@Steelheads), proud ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate of the Dallas Stars (@DallasStars), and Steelheads Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations Everett Sheen announced today the Steelheads Opening Night roster for the 2025-26 season.
The Steelheads open the regular season Friday night at 8:00 p.m. MT against the Tahoe Knight Monsters at Tahoe Blue Event Center and will play the Knight Monsters again at 8:00 p.m. MT on Saturday and 4:00 p.m. MT on Sunday to round out the three-in-three.

The Steelheads bring back just eight regulars from the 2024-25 season. The new faces include 12 rookies and three veterans, with two of those veterans, Mitch Wahl and Charlie Dodero, coming back for another stint with Idaho after previously playing for the organization.
Catch the beginning of the Idaho Steelheads 28th on-ice season tomorrow, October 17th on KTIK-1350AM and FloHockey.
