BOISE, Idaho – Forward Spencer Naas has been recalled from the Idaho Steelheads by the Texas Stars (AHL), Steelheads Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced Monday.
Naas, 23, has played 41 games with the Steelheads this season, tallying 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points with a plus-three rating. The St. Louis Park, Minn., native makes his second AHL stint with the Texas Stars after his first recall on December 15, playing six games. In 18 career AHL games, Naas owns four goals and three assists for seven points, signing an AHL contract with Texas on July 18 following a four-year career at the University of Connecticut.
The Steelheads return to CenturyLink Arena this Wednesday to open a three-game weekend against the Rapid City Rush.
