Boise, ID (3/26/18)— The Idaho Steelheads have released their home schedule for the first round of the 2018 ECHL US Bank Kelly Cup Playoffs, with the series-opener slated for Friday, April 13th at CenturyLink Arena.
The Steelheads clinched home ice advantage for the Mountain Division Semifinal with Saturday night’s 5-2 win against the Rapid City Rush. Their first round opponent is still to be determined, with the Wichita Thunder, Allen Americans, Tulsa Oilers, and Utah Grizzlies all jockeying for the final two playoff spots in the Mountain Division.
Each playoff round is a best-of-seven series, with three series victories needed to reach the Kelly Cup Final. The Steelheads seek their third Kelly Cup, and first since 2007.
The first-round schedule at CenturyLink Arena is as follows:
Game 1 (Game A): Friday, April 13th, 7:10pm – CenturyLink Arena
Game 2 (Game B): Saturday, April 14th, 7:10pm – CenturyLink Arena
Game 6 (Game C) * : Tuesday, April 24th, 7:10pm – CenturyLink Arena
Game 7 (Game D) * : Wednesday, April 25th, 7:10pm – CenturyLink Arena
