Steelhead announce schedule for 2017 Training Camp

Boise, ID (9/27/17) – The Steelheads have released their 2017 training camp schedule, with the team set to take the ice for the first time this season on October 2nd at CenturyLink Arena.

Steelheads training camp will extend from October 2nd through October 12th, with the team holding eight practices and two exhibition games against the Utah Grizzlies during that time. All training camp practices will be held at CenturyLink Arena.

All practice sessions are open to the public, with the exception of the morning skate prior to the home exhibition game on October 7th. Fans may enter via the front lobby of CenturyLink Arena, with doors opening 15 minutes prior to practice.

Monday, October 2nd:                11am-1pm at CenturyLink Arena

Tuesday, October 3rd:                10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena

Wednesday, October 4th:           10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena; 5-6:30 Intra-squad Scrimmage

Thursday, October 5th:              10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena

Friday, October 6th:                   7pm Exhibition game @ Utah

Saturday, October 7th:              10am morning skate; 7:10pm Exhibition game vs. Utah

Monday, October 9th:                  10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena

Tuesday, October 10th:               10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena

Wednesday, October 11th:         10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena

Thursday, October 12th:             10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena

The Steelheads’ roster for training camp will be announced prior to the beginning of practice sessions.

The Steelheads’ home exhibition game on October 7th will be reserved for season-ticket holders. The Steelheads’ regular season opener is on October 13th, when the Steelheads host the Norfolk Admirals at CenturyLink Arena.
