Steelheads announce first-round schedule for ECHL US Bank Kelly Cup Playoffs

Boise, ID (4/8/17)— The Idaho Steelheads have released the schedule for the first round of the 2017 ECHL US Bank Kelly Cup Playoffs. The Steelheads will face the Colorado Eagles in the Mountain Division Semifinals, the first post-season meeting between the teams since 2014, with Game 1 held at Budweiser Events Center on Friday, April 14th.

Each playoff round will be a best-of-seven series, with three series victories needed to reach the Kelly Cup Final. The Steelheads seek their third Kelly Cup, and first since 2007. The full first-round schedule is as follows:

Game 1: Steelheads @ Colorado Eagles -  Friday, April 14th, 7:05pm – Budweiser Events Center

Game 2: Steelheads @ Colorado Eagles -  Saturday, April 15th, 7:05pm – Budweiser Events Center

Game 3: Colorado Eagles @ Steelheads -  Wednesday, April 19th, 7:05pm – CenturyLink Arena

Game 4: Colorado Eagles @ Steelheads -  Friday, April 21st, 7:05pm – CenturyLink Arena

Game 5: Colorado Eagles @ Steelheads -  Saturday, April 22nd, 7:05pm – CenturyLink Arena*

The Steelheads will host viewing parties for all road games during the first round of the playoffs. Fans are welcome to gather at the Sports Zone at CenturyLink Arena to cheer the Steelheads on to their third Kelly Cup Championship. Viewing parties will include food menus, drinks, and raffle prizes. All road games will be broadcast live on KTIK “The Ticket” and on ECHLTV.
