Boise, ID (3/31/17)— The Idaho Steelheads have announced that playoff tickets are now on sale for the team’s opening round of the 2017 ECHL US Bank Kelly Cup Playoffs, as the Steelheads begin the push for their third Kelly Cup title.
The first two home playoff games, Game 3 and Game 4 of the Mountain Division Semifinal, will be played on April 19th and April 21st at CenturyLink Arena. Game 5, if necessary, would be played at CenturyLink Arena on April 22nd, with tickets for that game to be released at a later date.
The Steelheads’ opponent for the Mountain Division Semifinal has not yet been determined, but is guaranteed to be either the Allen Americans or the Colorado Eagles. The Steelheads met the defending-champion Americans in the first round of last year’s playoffs, while the Steelheads and Eagles have not met in post-season play since the opening round of the 2014 Kelly Cup playoffs.
The Steelheads are in the playoffs for the 20th consecutive season, the longest active playoff streak in professional hockey. Fans are welcome to visit the CenturyLink Arena Box Office prior to tonight’s contest against the Colorado Eagles and assure their piece of the action.
