Steelheads announce 20th Anniversary Reunion Game

Boise, ID (1/11/17) –The Idaho Steelheads and their fans will celebrate many of the best players in the franchise’s history on March 25th when the organization hosts the 20th Anniversary Steelheads Reunion Game, benefiting Camp Rainbow Gold. Steelheads legends and fan favorites like Cal Ingraham, Jeremy Mylymok, and many more will once again take to the ice at CenturyLink Arena to put on a show for Steelheads fans. Marty Flichel will be on hand for pictures and autographs as well.

The 20th Anniversary Reunion Game will feature players from both the ECHL and WCHL eras, with prominent players from the team’s earliest days lacing up the skates once again in downtown Boise. Troy Edwards, Scott Davis, and Blair Allison are just a few players from the first era of Steelheads hockey that will be on hand to reconnect with Steelheads fans.

“Between two Kelly Cup Championships, three appearances in the Kelly Cup Final, two finals appearances in the WCHL, and all the years in between, we have had a lot of incredible players in our organization over the past 20 years. And we have also had a lot of incredible people,” said Steelheads President Eric Trapp.

“This reunion game will be a wonderful opportunity for our fans to see some of their favorite players from the last two decades, but also for those players to once again hit the ice together and look back on some of the best times in their lives that took place right here in Boise.”

After the game, fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite alumni for pictures and autographs.

The Steelheads are proud to partner with Camp Rainbow Gold for the reunion festivities. A portion of the ticket sales from the game will be donated to support Camp Rainbow Gold, a local organization that provides empowering experiences and fun activities for children diagnosed with cancer.

“We are so excited for the opportunity to team up with the Idaho Steelheads,” said Tracy Bryan, the Program Director at Camp Rainbow Gold. “They have been a community partner for years, and we are so thankful for their support.”
