Boise, ID (9/29/16) – The Steelheads announced their 2016 training camp schedule on Thursday, with the team set to take the ice for the first time this season on October 6th at CenturyLink Arena.
The Steelheads’ training camp will extend from October 5th through October 11th, with the team holding four practices and two exhibition games against the Utah Grizzlies during that time. All training camp practices will be held at CenturyLink Arena.
All practice sessions are open to the public, with the exception of the morning skate prior to the home exhibition game on October 11th. Fans may enter via the front lobby of CenturyLink Arena, with doors opening 15 minutes prior to practice.
Steelheads on-ice practice sessions:
Thursday, October 6th: 10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena
Friday, October 7th: 10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena
Saturday, October 8th: 10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena
Sunday, October 9th: 10am-12pm at CenturyLink Arena
Monday, October 10th: 7pm Exhibition game @ Utah
Tuesday, October 11th: 7:10 Exhibition game vs. Utah
The Steelheads’ roster for training camp will be announced prior to the beginning of practice sessions.
The Steelheads’ home exhibition game on October 11th will be reserved for season-ticket holders. The Steelheads’ regular season home-opener is October 21st, when the Utah Grizzlies visit CenturyLink Arena.
