Steelheads announce first-round playoff schedule

Boise, ID (4/9/16)— The Idaho Steelheads have announced the game schedule for the first round of the 2016 US Bank ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs as they begin their quest for their third Kelly Cup Championship. The Steelheads will face the defending-champion Allen Americans in a best-of-seven series, beginning at Allen Event Center on Thursday, April 14th.

 The series schedule is as follows:

Game 1: Thursday, April 14th          @  Allen   6:05pm MT  at Allen Event Center

Game 2: Saturday, April 16th            @  Allen   6:05pm MT  at Allen Event Center

Game 3: Wednesday, April 20th      vs.  Allen   7:10pm MT  at CenturyLink Arena

Game 4: Friday, April 22nd                vs.  Allen   7:10pm MT  at CenturyLink Arena

The Steelheads and Americans met four times this season, with the Steelheads going 2-1-1. The teams have not met since December 19th and have never met in post-season play.

All Steelheads playoff games can be heard on 1350AM KTIK and viewed on ECHLTV. All home  playoff games will be televised live on Cable One.
