Boise, ID (4/9/2015) – The ECHL announced Thursday morning that Idaho Steelheads forward Wade MacLeod was one of six players voted first-team All-ECHL for the 2014-2015 season.
MacLeod, 28, is the fifth Steelhead to earn first-team All-ECHL honors, joining Matt Case (2012-13), Mark Derlago (twice, 2009-10, 2010-11) and Marty Flichel (2006-07).
The Coquitlam, BC, native is currently ranked second in the ECHL with 80 points (38 goals, 42 assists). He finished the regular-season with a flourish, collecting 35 points (21 goals, 14 assists) in 26 games since February 1. Even more specifically, MacLeod had 13 goals in his final 16 games of the regular season.

MacLeod helped the Steelheads win the ECHL’s Pacific Division. Idaho will face either Utah or Alaska in the first round of the U.S. Bank ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs, which begins next week. Game 1 of either best-of-seven series will be in Boise, either Wednesday (vs. Utah) or Friday (vs. Alaska). A complete first-round schedule will be announced once an opponent is determined.
