Boise, ID (9/4/14) – The Idaho Steelheads and Utah Grizzlies will meet on Friday, October 10, in the annual pre-season “Season-Ticket Holder Only” game in downtown Boise.
There will be no single-game tickets to the game, which will be played at CenturyLink Arena. Rather, each Season-Ticket holder will get an allotment of general-admission passes to use and distribute for the game. The puck will drop at 7:10 PM.
Each Season-Ticket holder will receive a letter soon with their vouchers for the game. The letter explains the event to new Season-Ticket holders and any who have not attended in the past.
Last season’s “Season-Ticket Holder Only” game drew 4,294 fans, the third consecutive season that it has drawn at least 4,000 fans to the 5,006-seat CenturyLink Arena.
The game is part of a two-game preseason schedule for the Steelheads and Grizzlies. The two teams will play Saturday night, October 11, in Logan, UT, to wrap up the pre-season schedule.
The 18th season of professional hockey in Idaho begins on Friday, October 17, when Idaho plays at Utah before returning home on Saturday, October 18, to host the Grizzlies in the regular-season home opener at CenturyLink Arena.
Group outings at a Steelheads game are a great way to gather friends, colleagues, or co-workers for a fun night out in downtown Boise. Ticket prices are discounted and you can get a Pepsi, Double-R Ranch Hot Dog, and bag of Tim’s Cascade Chips with each ticket.
