Boise, ID (9/15/14) – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Monday that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Wade MacLeod.
The 27-year-old MacLeod has 129 games of experience in the American Hockey League, the highest level of minor-league hockey in North America. Part of his time in the AHL was spent in Springfield, where he was a teammate of current Steelheads defenseman Patrick Cullity. He has appeared in 19 games at the ECHL level in his pro career, netting 11 goals. The Coquitlam, BC, native also led his college team, Northeastern, in scoring as a sophomore, junior and senior before turning pro.
Ralph on MacLeod:“Wade is a competitor, likes to shoot the puck and will be a big part of our offense this season.”
Group outings at a Steelheads game are a great way to gather friends, colleagues, or co-workers for a fun night out in downtown Boise.
