Boise, ID (8/12/14) – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Brett Robinson.
Robinson, 29, will be returning for his third season in a Steelheads sweater after earning team Most Valuable Player honors in 2013-14. He had 37 points (12 goals, 25 assists) in 47 games last season for Idaho with a team-best plus-19 rating. Just as important as individual numbers, the team’s winning percentage when Robinson was in the lineup was over .630 while it was .500 in games he missed. The Mercyhurst University product had a career-best eight-game point streak from November 23 to December 14.

Ralph on Robinson: “Brett is an experienced leader that knows how to win. He is a complete player in terms of his on ice abilities and he plays the game the right way. He loves the city of Boise and does whatever he can for our team and organization to be a success.”
Robinson becomes the eighth player to return to the Steelheads, joining defensemen Matt Case, Patrick Cullity and Eamonn McDermott along with forwards Gaelan Patterson, Rob Linsmayer, Luke Judson and Jason Bast.
