San Francisco, CA (11/16/12) ? Alex Tuckerman's first goal of the season snapped a 2-2 tie early in the third period as the San Francisco Bulls defeated the Idaho Steelheads, 4-2. The loss ended Idaho's 11-game unbeaten-in-regulation streak and dropped the team's record to 9-3-2. It was Idaho's first loss in regulation since October 13. San Francisco drew first blood on a Marek Viedensky at 7:57 of the first period, but Idaho answered quickly in the second frame. First, on the power play, Jeremie Blain blasted home his fourth of the year from the high slot to even the game at a goal apiece at the 3:07 mark. Then, just 22 seconds later, David de Kastrozza finished a centering pass from Jacob Cepis after Cepis forced a turnover to give Idaho a 2-1 lead at 3:29. San Francisco would get the equalizer on the power play at 7:23 of the second on a Sasha Guimond shot to send the game to the third period tied at two. The Bulls did all the scoring in the third period with a pair of players notching their first tallies of the season. First, it was Alex Tuckerman sneaking a shot past Tyler Beskorowany at 5:21 of the third and then Scott Langdon added an insurance goal through traffic at 10:46 of the third, providing the final margin of 4-2. San Francisco out-shot Idaho, 27-23, for the game. Beskorowany took the loss, stopping 23 of 27 shots. Thomas Heemskerk picked up the win, stopping 21 of 23. Idaho was 1-4 on the power play and San Francisco was 1-2 Idaho returns home Wednesday, November 21, to face the rival Alaska Aces.
