Mouillierat, Foster added to Idaho lineup

Boise, ID (10/17/12) ?Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced a series of roster moves Wednesday morning as the team added forwards Kael Mouillierat, Adrian Foster, and Sam Carrick to the Idaho Steelheads? roster along with defenseman Hubert Labrie. Mouillierat and Foster have signed ECHL contracts while Labrie (Dallas Stars) and Carrick (Toronto Maple Leafs) have been re-assigned from the AHL to the Steelheads by NHL clubs. All four are with the team in Loveland, CO, and are expected to be in the lineup Wednesday night when the Steelheads take on the Colorado Eagles (7 PM, KTIK 1350 AM). Mouillierat spent most of last season in the American Hockey League, the highest level of minor-league hockey in North America, after starting the campaign with Idaho. Since turning pro, Mouillierat has scored 92 points in 98 games with Idaho over parts of three seasons, including being named to the ECHL All-Rookie team in 2011. Mouillierat also landed on ESPN?s ?Top Ten? last December after an over-the-shoulder goal against the Alaska Aces. Foster was a first-round draft pick in 2001 by the NHL?s New Jersey Devils. He has spent most of his career at the AHL level but has also competed in some of the elite European leagues. In 291 professional games, the Alberta native has 149 points (62 goals, 87 assists). Carrick, 20, was assigned to the Steelheads by the Maple Leafs organization after a highly-successful career in the Ontario Hockey League, an elite major-junior hockey league. Last year, Carrick led the Brampton Battalion in goals (37), assists (30), and points (67) as the team?s captain. He was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the 5th round in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Labrie, 21, played 14 games for Idaho at the ECHL level last season, netting his first pro goal in a Steelhead uniform in November against Las Vegas. He has also skated in 33 games at the AHL level with the Texas Stars. With the addition of Labrie and Carrick, the Steelheads currently have eight players on their roster who are 22 years old or younger ? Tyler Beskorowany (22), Josh Robinson (22), Justin Dowling (22), Labrie (21), Tristan King (21), Austin Fyten (21), Carrick (20) and Jeremie Blain (20). In corresponding moves, the Steelheads released forwards Taylor McReynolds, Andrew Wright, and Mike Towns. The Steelheads return home on Wednesday, October 24, for Dollar Beer Night presented by Bud Light when the team hosts the Ontario Reign. Season Ticket packages are still available, starting at just $275 per seat for all 36 home games. Partial-season packages start at as little as $150 for fans who want a little more flexibility.
