Steelheads team website wins ECHL award again

Boise, ID (6/27/12) ? For the third time in six years, IdahoSteelheads.com, the official website of the ECHL?s Idaho Steelheads, received the league?s Website of Excellence Award. It is the second consecutive year the website was selected as tops in the ECHL. The site also shared the award with the Wheeling Nailers in 2007. ?A lot of work goes in to the website,? Creative Services Director Chris Mitchell said. ?It?s always nice to have your work recognized like that.? Each of the league?s websites was judged by NewSport Media. Idaho?s site scored high in update frequency, mobile readiness, and design/organization to beat the official websites of the Las Vegas Wranglers, Cincinnati Cyclones, and Stockton Thunder. ?There are still some areas to improve,? Mitchell said. ?The number one goal is to be very user-friendly. We?re constantly working to get stronger in that area.?
