Flichel, Mouillierat among nine added to camp roster

(Boise, ID) ? Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Hardy Sauter announced Monday that the Idaho Steelheads have added nine players to their training camp roster, including all-time leading scorer Marty Flichel and ECHL All-Star Kael Mouillierat. Flichel, 35, is the all-time leading scorer in Steelheads history. He has 142 goals, 246 assists, and 388 overall points in the ECHL era. He had another 67 points with Idaho when the team was still a member of the now-defunct West Coast Hockey League, giving him over 450 points in an Idaho sweater. Mouillierat was voted onto the ECHL All-Star and All-Rookie teams last season, when he netted 25 goals and 38 assists for Idaho in his first full season as a professional. He also played six games for the Texas Stars, Idaho?s affiliate in the American Hockey League. The other players added on Monday: Chad Klassen, F: He made his professional debut with the Victoria Salmon Kings last season and averaged a point per game in the ECHL playoffs. He played his college hockey at the University of Alberta after playing his major-junior hockey for the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League. Ryan Watson, F: Played college hockey at Western Michigan, where he was a teammate of former Steelheads Tyler Ludwig and Jerry Kuhn. He was a 7th-round draft choice of the Florida Panthers in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Ian Lowe, F: Lowe was among the leading scorers at Bemiji State each of the past two seasons with 28 points as a senior and 31 as a junior. Also scored 91 points in 54 games during his final season of junior hockey in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. Sam D?Agostino, F: D?Agostino split last season between the Cincinnati Cyclones and Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, totaling 11 goals. Finished his college hockey career at UMass-Lowell. Reid Edmondson, F: Appeared in 53 games for the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League last season, scoring ten goals. A native of Richmond, BC, just outside Vancouver. Kyler Moje, F: He played his college hockey at Bethel University (MN) and has spent the past two seasons with the Battle Creek Revolution of the All-American Hockey League, where he tallied 109 points in 66 games over two seasons. Thomas Speer, G: The Wausau, WI, product guarded the net at UMass-Boston last season, where he posted a 2.51 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage, posting a win-loss record of 8-6. Steelhead Season-Ticket Holders get six games FREE when they sign up for full-season packages. Plans for all 36 home games start at just $275 per seat.
