(Boise, ID) ? Head coach and director of hockey operations Hardy Sauter announced Monday that the ECHL?s Idaho Steelheads have released forwards Bear Trapp and Dean Yakura. The pair each skated in five games with the Steelheads over the past two weeks. Trapp had a goal, two assists, and a fighting major while Yakura scored a goal in his first ECHL game on February 18 against the Alaska Aces. The Steelheads are home Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday night, hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers at Qwest Arena. It?s a ?Twice the Ice? week, where fans who purchase a $15 ticket to Wednesday?s game have the option of buying a $7 ticket to Saturday night?s contest.
