DiPalma Named to 'Accomplished Under Forty' List

Idaho Sports Properties and Idaho Steelheads Vice President Michael DiPalma has been named to the ?Accomplished Under Forty? list by the Idaho Business Review. The annual list of honorees includes attorneys, educators, health care professionals, musicians, bankers, real estate agents, and journalists who are all profiled in the 2010 Idaho Accomplished Under Forty magazine, which was published on June 21 by the Idaho Business Review. DiPalma, who first accepted a job in the Treasure Valley in 1997, has worked for the Idaho Steelheads, Boise Burn (Arena Football), Idaho Sneakers (World Team Tennis), and Qwest Arena. ?Mike is well-deserving, and we would like to thank him for his dedicated work to Block 22, the Idaho Steelheads, Grove Hotel, and Qwest Arena,? said Eric Trapp, President of Idaho Sports Properties and the Idaho Steelheads. DiPalma has served the Idaho sports scene since 1997, when he was hired by Diamond Sports Management to work for the Boise Hawks baseball team immediately following college. While his first job was that of a special projects coordinator, he took on the marketing and promotions responsibilities for the Idaho Steelheads, Idaho Sneakers (World Team Tennis), and Bank of America Centre shortly thereafter. In 1999, DiPalma was promoted by Diamond Sports to Director of Marketing, where his role shifted to corporate sponsorships and sales. In 2001, DiPalma left the Treasure Valley to accept an Assistant General Manager position with a startup hockey team in Atlantic City, where he staffed his first Kelly Cup Championship in 2003. DiPalma remained in New Jersey until 2004, when Diamond Sports, the precursor to Idaho Sports Properties, offered him a Vice President position. ?Though my family and childhood friends remained in the East, my love for the Treasure Valley brought me back,? Dipalma said. DiPalma has also maintained an active presence in the community, as he has worked with the Komen Race for a Cure, St. Luke?s Children?s Hospital, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Make-A-Wish. DiPalma lives in Meridian, Idaho with his wife Jody, a Boise-native, and their two children: four-year-old daughter Brooklyn Kennedy and two-year-old son Matthew. Ticket plans for the 2010-2011 season are available right now, starting at just $275 per seat for all 36 home games during the regular season. Partial-season plans are also available.
