(Boise, ID) ? The Boise Burn and KTVB Media Group announced Wednesday afternoon that this weekend?s af2 playoff game between the Burn and Spokane Shock will be broadcast live in the Treasure Valley. KTVB will carry the game on ?24/7 Channel 7.2? beginning at 8 PM (Mtn) Saturday night. ?We owe a debt of gratitude to the KTVB family, KHQ-TV out of Spokane, and the Shock organization,? Burn President Eric Trapp said. ?Without their cooperation and fast action, our fans might not have had an opportunity to watch this game.? The Shock and KHQ produce all home football games for broadcast in Spokane. KTVB will pick up that production via satellite and air it in the Boise area. ?KTVB is pleased to be associated with this important playoff game,? KTVB General Manager Doug Armstrong said. ?Showing the game on ?24/7 Channel 7.2? will expose the Burn to a broad audience throughout the Treasure Valley area. It?s an exciting brand of football, and the Burn has a great chance to advance.? This will be the first live broadcast of a road game in Boise Burn franchise history. All home games during the regular season have been carried live by Cable One (Channel 17). KTVB?s ?24/7 Channel 7.2? is available on channel 28 for Cable One subscribers, digital channel 7.2 with an antenna in the Treasure Valley, and digital channel 7.8 with an antenna in the Magic Valley. The Burn (13-4) and Shock (16-1) will be meeting for the fourth time this season, with the winner advancing to the af2?s National Conference championship game against either Bossier-Shreveport or Tulsa on August 15. The af2 championship game, dubbed ?ArenaCup X,? is August 22 in Las Vegas, NV.
