Last week jerseys, this week toys at Qwest Arena

One week after raising $4,000 for charity, the Boise Burn will be at it again prior to Saturday night's playoff game against the Arkansas Twisters at Qwest Arena. The Burn will be hosting a toy drive, with all toys collected being donated to the Saint Luke's Foundation. The organization is asking fans to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be dropped in donation boxes in the Qwest Arena lobby and outside the second and third-floor suites. The toy drive, staffed by volunteers coordinated by Season-Ticket Holders Loney, Rachelle and Stetson Larson, will help stock shelves at Saint Luke's, who uses the toys to give to children staying at the hospital. During the regular-season finale against Spokane, the Burn hosted the Project Filter "Jersey off our Back" promotion to benefit the American Lung Association in Idaho. Fans were given the opportunity to bid on Boise's game-worn white jerseys. The winners were given the opportunity to be photographed with the player whose jersey they bid on. Those jerseys, along with a team-autographed jersey that was raffled off, raised $4,000 for the ALA. The Burn have auctioned off game-worn jerseys to raise money in each of the team's three seasons.Saturday night's playoff game kicks off at 7 PM at Qwest Arena.
