Jomo Wilson, started the game on offense but stole the show on defense helping the Boise Burn to 68-18 victory improving their record to 4-1 on the season. The Burn offense got off to a quick start. On the first offensive play of the game Taylor Tharp found Nichiren Flowers wide open for a 23 yard TD and the early 7-0 lead. 10 minutes later it was Tharp and Flowers again hooking up, this time from 29 yards out giving Boise the 14-0 lead after the first quarter. Jerard Rabb made a leaping 1 handed catch in the end zone giving Boise a 21-0 lead with 12:38 left to go in the first half. Stockton broke the shutout with 3 minutes left to go in the second. Chad Cavender making his first start found Justin Taplin for a 16 yard score cutting the lead to 21-6. Boise outscored Stockton 47- 12 in the second half. Jomo Wilson taking over for Tremaine Tyler, who left the game with an injury, had 3 interceptions, the first setting up the first score of the 3rd quarter. Tharp (Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Game) hit Casey Allen on a 5 yard TD and connected with Eric Price on a 14 yard TD and the Burn led 35-12 after three quarters. The 4th quarter was all Burn as they racked up a season high 33 points. Jomo Wilson returned an interception 50 yards for a TD, Nichiren Flowers scored his 3rd and 4th TD of the night (receiving, fumble recovery) and Terrance Sanders capped off the scoring with a 54 yard kickoff return for TD with less than a minute left to go in the game as the Burn roll to an impressive victory improving to 4-1 on the season.
