The Boise Burn today announced that WR/DB Tremaine Tyler and Kicker Ben Scott have been assigned to the team by the af2 league office. Also today, Ben Aguillar, the kicker who began the 2009 season with the Burn has been reassigned and WR/DB Roshawn Marshall has been placed on team suspension.Tyler, 5-foot-11 and 205-pounds, played six games with the af2?s Spokane Shock last season where he had 30.5 tackles, one interception, and returned 52 yards for TDs. Prior to the af2, the 26-year-old played 38 games at South Carolina and collected 111 total tackles, three interceptions and nine pass break-ups.Scott, played with the af2?s Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz in 2008, and started all 16 games. He converted 62 of 82 PATs and connected on eight field goals. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound punter attended Johns Hopkins University where he earned a spot on the AFCA All-America Team, becoming just the second player in school history to do so.The fifth-ranked Boise Burn kick off their third home opener at Qwest Arena on Saturday, Apr. 18 at 7:10 pm against the top-ranked Spokane Shock.
